Recommendations on subs

any good subs that would match up nicely with my rockford power 1000bd? its an older amp but its brand new, plus i know it will pound so looking for a single 12 or maybe even 2 12s to run it with

I have an Arc Audio Flat line that would do the trick it is a beast of a sub.

What kind of music do you listen too? Are you looking for more output than SQ or the other way around. I have not heard a flatline yet, so I can't say it is the sub your looking for, but I do trust the guys above and their opinion. So I doubt you can go wrong there.

just a quick synopsis on the FL. I am a sq competitor. So this sub is quite musical but on the flip side it will pound your chest in when powered up.

jeez...the arc audio bandwagon is strong here...



i say give the RLp a try. very musical sub that'll get fairly loud. they go for ~280 shipped for the 15".

i dunno, i listen to all sorts, jazz, rap, alternative, slow jams... i guess more of a sq sub that still pounds when i blast my rap music, the flatline sound sperfect, only i doubt there are any sellers out here on oahu

I will sell you mine. It comes with a warrenty too!!!! I listen to Jazz mostly but love old school R&B some classical and Old school hip hop and some of the new stuff. The flatline handles it all. Not to mention mine is in a car that is geared for sq as I am a competitor and the car was at USACi world finals.
