Wiring question center pillar removal

I'm trying to hide all the signal and speaker wires running from the front to the trunk. After pulling the plastic door jam runners off and pulling up the carpet it looks like Nissan has a white plastic channel running all the way to the back which is nice... although I'm stuck at where the center pillar between the doors meets the floor. How does the pillar come off... just pull straight out and pop off - I pulled kinda hard but stopped because I thought I was going to crack it. Also where is the easiest spot to run the power wire out to the battery. I looked down there but didn't see any wire bundles going through the firewall... it was dimly lit so I might have missed it.
Thanks in advance

Good luck getting the wire into the white channel. It's pretty tight and not worth the effort IMO. For the B pillar, pull the bottom away from the rubber stripping then pull towards the middle of the car, then out and under the upper half. If you have an automatic, the wire can be drilled through the blank spot in your firewall where the clutch assembly would have gone. If not, there is still another hole visible towards the center of the engine. It is not covered.

Thanks for the tip on the B pillar. I do have a manual tranny though, I'll have to look for the hole near the center of the engine.

I did a little more searching under the dash but came up with nothing. I didn't see an "uncovered hole" but I did see a rubber boot stuffed at 110% capacity going through the firewall on the passenger side - about in the center of the engine. On the engine side it immediately goes into a 90 degree elbow. Is this the spot?? looks like it would a pain in the *** to get a 0 gauge wire through there.
