Good SQ headunit with factory look

I have an eclipse 8445 which still has the theft warranty. Everytime I park the max(in malls, ect) I worry about getting the windows broken. What headunits have equal or better sound quality without the flashy looks. I was looking at the Nak cd500 & 700ii. How are these two units? And, are there others that have good sq without the aftermarket look?

any of the nak decks will fit that description...but be prepared to open your wallet VERY wide for the 700. There are others but theyll generally be a lot harder to find.

Yeah was gonna say Nak, one of the Black Denons (but they're rreeeeeeaaaal expensive), Clarion DRZ looked very cleassy, prolly wouldn't pass as aftermarked cause it's dark grey and not black, but it only drew peoples attention when they saw it close up (and could then tell how quality it was)

If you wanna go cheaper, JVC made a chameleon, and a lot of head units have detachable face. Opening up that option is prolly your best bet.

The good thing is that so many people have cheap aftermarket headunits but besides that no real system, so I don't think it's that dead a giveaway that you have amps or subs as you may think.

Also consider tinted windows and of course an alarm....

With a Nak deck, if you're running multiple amps you'd may want to have a processor too.
