Okay so i have been without a sub for a few months and my speakers have worked fine. I get my sub yesterday and plug in my sub amp and now i get a buzzing noise through the components when i turn the car on. When i unplug the rca's to the sub amp it stops. I checked all of the grounds (Deck, Comp Amp, and Sub Amp) and there fine changed rca's and nothing anybody have any ideas.

 

i would get a whining noise when i had my phoenix gold 1200.1. Nothing i tried would get rid of the whining noise turns out its just the way the amp was. HOpefully not the same issue for you. Everytime i would give it power i would immediatly get the whining noise

 

so you only have 1 amp correct? or are the f/r run off another amp?

 

i have two amps every time i would hook up the pg amp it would start whining.

 

Two amps total and i had them set up before in the same locations with the same grounds.
