Got the car back. Not quiiite done yet, but will be by the end of this week. The box still needs to be done. But everything else is looking rreeaall nice!

Well, the amps aren't in yet either lol. Box and amps are the only things I need to get in there. Everything else is installed though and done well.

Needed the car today though to get back and forth to work. Had to borrow my mom's car for a while but she needs it back for the weekday.

Max4Speed who is on the .org is the guy working on it all. Not bad considering he's working on it without much help. So I gotta give him a lot of credit for working on the car!

The headunit looks SEEEXXXIIEEE too. Alarm works like a charm, though will take some time getting used to.

I'm tiirred as heck from work so I'll be going to bed early this time guys.

Haha yeah not really a huge shop He's done a really nice job on it all!

Waiting on him to confirm if we can get it done on Thursday If so...then I'll be back with some tunes! I'll be there to help out on Thursday, so I may get some install pics too.

Won't put up a video until 7 days (1 wk) so that the subwoofer has time to get broken in.

 

Update...with good news!

I have music....

But the bad news?!

No bass.

The amps are powered, and all wires are ran correctly. The sub has been tested to work. But the power wire coming from the amps to the sub have no sign of life to them!



Otherwise I'm loving the SLC's really clean sounding and good midbass. Hearing a lot that I haven't heard before.

I'll make a video clip of the mids hooked up next time. Hopefully I can take care of the sub/amp problem this week though! I haven't had any bass for 2 weeks now and it's just not the same!

so your telling me you paid someone to "professionaly" install your system and they cant get the power wire to work? i hope you didnt pay to much..... also check your fuses, maybe they forgot to put the fuse in or something lame..

At least it's allowed me to appreciate the SLC's on their own haha. Very clear, and I noticed my ears don't hurt while listening for a while. Maybe it's just because the bass is missing lol.

 

No it's because they are not harsh and distort less...I honestly love my Rainbows daily because of this.
