What is the door depth on a 5th gen, front and rear?

 

Front, from metal to window, is only about 2 inches, but there is plenty of room between the metal and the door panel, so you can space out the speaker with 3/4" or 1" mdf. Rear...plenty of room for whatever you want to put back there, because theres no window to worry about.
