Can anybody recommend an after-market HU that will be compatible with steering wheel controls. Thanks

 

You can get an adapter to make the steering wheel controls work with nearly any, good, aftermarket hu.

 

PAC Adapter makes the controls work. I have it hooked to an Alpine HU and they work fine.

Just play around with the mounting location of the IR emitter so that your deck will get a "good" signal.

The buttons do operate a little "slow" but they work.

 

It's no longer necessary to use the one with the remote eye. They have model specific controls. Mine, for instance is the Pac-SWI-PS works for pioneer and sony.

 

ha i have the "eye" one and dont even have it pointed right. didnt ever find a spot i liked the eye in... didnt want a wire hanging any where and didnt find a good spot for it. its all hooked up too. sad. sorry bout the rant. do you know the modle # for the plug and play variety? i have an eclipse deck
