Is this a good deal?

I was looking up the Specs on "The Law"s EA4000 and started browsing amps (for fun) when I saw this:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/INFREF7541A

111 x 4 @ 4 ohms w/ a fairly small footprint. 60A current draw.

I have never heard an (aftermarket) Infinity amp.

I'm using an Infinity Reference 7521a to power two 10" Infinity subwoofers, and it supplies decent power, sounds fine, but I'm not sure how it will sound for fronts

spend an extra couple bucks and get something a bit better. Infinity isn't contender when it comes to premium car audio. There are other brands which make quality amps at a decent price.

I was not really seriously considering buying that amp, but the cost/watt seemed good for a "mainstream" brand. I was more curious as to whether there was some catch to it that I was missing.

Apparently you've been misinformed. They were never 'out of business'. They only disolved partnership with Orca, but then proceeded with Elettromedia (parent company) and brought Hertz in as well.
