I have the 9311ts and you cant just ground the ebrake wire> All you have to do is buy a $2 switch and ground one end of it and connect the other end of it to the radio then whenever you want to watch a movie flip the switch off for 5 seconds then turn it on and it should come on. I have the full tut. I cant find it right now but its in my favorties at home

Believe me. Ive dealt with plenty of cheap @ss customers who come in and buy them, which therefore Im forced to install them. With the amount of them that come back with all kinds of problems, I can 110% say that theres PLENTY wrong with Jensen, and Id much rather run a stock headunit.

But whatever floats your boat.

Yah well im pretty broke and in college so im holding off on a $2,000 eclipse HU for now.

I installed one myself and just had to ground BOTH wires to the chasis. If ur HU works, then i guess its grounded enough. Make sure u have both ground wires installed.

And the bypass code is as follows so u dont need to use the switch if u dont want:
Goto Am/Fm mode
press "setup" on remote
press "543210"
on the new menu, tough the "hammer/screwdriver" button on the upper left
And then choose "Brake bypass" to "ON"
Then hit the "X" on the bottom of screen.

Tell me if it works
