Feedback noise when unlocking doors?

Feedback noise when unlocking doors?

Do any of your fellas experience this wierd feedback noise from your speakers when you lock and unlock your doors? i THINK it's coming from the speakers...but definately on the driver side somewhere. it's sporadic as well. any ideas?

i get it a little bit when i roll my windows up and down (iirc, its some button on the door i cant remember), its barely noticeable though. Seems like a grounding issue to me, but ive been way too lazy to investigate.

didn't know it got moved to audio section....

anyhow, the sound comes and goes. quite odd.

All the window/lock controls are BCMs this could have alot of play on the rest of the audio unfortunately..

so the alarm could be at fault here eh? this damn car....one thing after another...

guess i'll pay IR another visit and ask the alarm guy about the problem.

Not the alarm, but the OEM lock/window controls. Theres not really much of a chance of the aftermarket alarm affecting the audio unless hes a true n00b and found a new way....

nah, i trust his installs. the man is so **** about soldering every connection and making it look as factory as possible.

so where can i even begin to troubleshoot the problem?
