BLOSE: Right side speaker cuts out!

hey all... well i have experienced the infamous left side speakers not functioning, for me this was an intermitent issue. now i have the reverse problem.. the right side cuts out while the left side works! i have played with the balance controls which does not solve the problem. all this only occurs while playing a CD. has anyone else experienced this?

I have this too on my 2004 SE, with Nav. I hate it! Does anyone know where I can find a stick on how to fix this? or answer the question, is it possible to have an Aftermarket H/U and still operate the Factory Nav?

*Bump*

I am also having the same issues with my right side speakers. I ruled out the speaker as being defective by interchanging the right side with my left speaker, still the same problem. Um...could it be the fuse? Anyone have any fixes for this problem?

I guess this is a common problem with the MAX. My left side cuts out sometimes only when a CD is playing. Occasionally when I hit a bump it will come on or cut out. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Advanced thanx!!!

Check to make sure the connectors on the door jams are alright, but YES the BLOSE sucks in the nissans. Might as well just replace it all

My 97's Bose HU was pretty much blown, only one speaker working. Today I put a new HU in it and I have absolutely no sound. I wired it myself, but everything is hooked up properly. Does this have something to do with the "each speaker has its own amp" thing I've read vague statements about?

How can I make my new HU actually put out sound??

(sure wish I could start new threads...)

Wife's car has the same problem. Christmas she gets a new system. Too many variables and specialized components in the Bose for me.

Here.......you can thank me later if you want to take the time to do this.

Otherwise you can be lazy like me, and when it cuts out, you can smack the side of your console pretty hard to jar the connection back in place. Works every time, if your left speaker is out, smack the right side, and vice versa for the right speaker.

Im glad im not the only one having the problem with the left speaker. I am not going to go try and take it out to fix. I wanted to replace the factory head unit with a TV anyway. I guess that will fix the problem.
