I asked before and I just got more confused so I will do it the easy way. Picked up two of the low end MTX subs for buy one get one free. Now I need to find an amp. I know that the subs are 4 ohm and are rated to 400wats, Im looking to spend around $250, and used is fine with me. What amp should I be looking for in that price range. What amps would work with the 4 ohm setup?
Thanks
RB

Ok, since you have 2 - 4ohm subs, then the only loads you can get or 8ohms and 2ohms. So you need to find an amp that puts out about 600W by one at 2ohms. I would check out MTX and possibly RF. Good amps that are a bit cheaper than the rest.
