Sealing off sub box

I have 2 12" subs in a sealed enclosure. The box has a leak at both sides of the box. What should I do to reseal this and get rid of the air leaks? Should I just use silicon along the side of it or drill nails in it to seal it off? Thanks.

I would use wood screws to pull the wood back together, then seal with caulking. If not, your leaks will potentially appear again.

Oops, sorry I thought the caulk on the inside was common knowledge.

Yea, do what he says...

I knew there was a leak! If you are **** you can take a small piece of sound deadening and put it on all the corners.

Lol, yeah I found it out after the 2nd amp was put in. I may drill screws into it for now instead of getting a new box and repositioning one of the subs because it's a little raised from when it was put in.
