dull jigsaw blade ftl.

i usually don't have issues cutting out circles, but damn...that blade will not curve even if its life depended on it.

Boy do I miss the diamondplate impp 12's I had and the free-air 8's I'd love to have those again.

my friend got the HU today, i'll pick it up later this afternoon. also test fit the box. looks like i gained 4-5 inches of depth. woot for more trunk space!

Wow 5th gens and 6th gens have alot more room in the trunk. Freaking 4th gen has those stupid torsion bars. Those POS's won't let me push my box all they way back. So I can't put anything in my trunk...FTL

you can take the torsion bars out, and put hood struts in on the sides instead, someone on here did it like that, opens up the trunk much more...

I have them on my 5th gen..but because my AVA broke the bracket that held 1 of my torsion bars. Someone did them on a 4th but I can't remember the name.

Thanks slick, I thought i was going to look different. I wanted to do struts to push open the trunk but I don't like how that looks and plus it will be in the way of my box that is being built.

Where they are now, the brackets dont get in the way because with a big box you can't put it back that far anyway. However, I only did this because I did not want to risk being decapitated by my trunk.

yeah, the ports seem to fire directly into the cutouts. that'll definately help get some volume into the cabin.
