My friend has a pioneer head unit with sirius radio subscription installed by circuit city in his car.Question is how would I go about getting his setup installed in my car?Will it work with my pionner head unit?Any insight is appreciated.

more info, what head unit do you have, most are sirius ready, you buy a tuner that installs to the head unit and activate it. your done.

Its satellite ready,and so is my friends.If I just wire up his tuner to my car will the satellite radio work?

i have that same head unit... good head unit. its done well for me over the last 2 years.. anyways um i believe. you have to have a subscription to the service set up on the sat tuner. if you plug the sat tuner into another unit it should work. why not just buy a tuner and get a subscription?

I can get the tuner free out my friends car.He has a subscription paid for that wont run out for at least year and a half.
