They look like crap, but beyond that no way to tell till their actually out. Probably be a decent middle of the road type of amp. They don't look like anythign special.

Any opinions you get here are going to be pretty subjective... only real way to know will be to actually test one out or find someone who's got one.

If you can wait a little while go for an Arc Audio Kar, or see if there are some of the current line available www.arcaudio.com they should fall into your budget and have great features and alot of power.

Anything that DEI gets their hands on turns to **** instantly. PPI,Orion,A/D/S are not exceptions by a long shot...

But why spend money twice? It turns out being that much more expensive. Spend the coin (or save if you dont have it) the first time around. Itll save you both time and money in the longrun.

Theres several offerings from Arc,Alumapro,Rainbow,DLS,Audison,Eclipse, etc that will more than suit your needs..

Nope, not happening. I keep the majority of it at my parents house in the attic in original boxes and wrapped in plastic. No one touches them including myself.

I have a few of the original Orion amps as well in a safe and secure place. If I remember correctly one of their first head sales guys was named Gino. He had the guys in Tempe 'tweak' a couple of 240 and 280 gx's for me. I even have a GS1000. Nice and shiny gold plating. That is in storage too.

Now if I could just find a couple of extra bridging modules......
