I had a 22" jackhammer but then I didn't want a sub bigger than my rims...so back to a 15" sub.

Why do you want a big sub? Most big subs aren't built as well. The jackhammer is about the biggest POS I've ever seen or heard. $9800 to make your SUV sound like total crap. A hummer came through the other week with one thought it would be at least built better since they completely redesigned to and weren't sharing any components from other subs like usual.

Holy Sh... almost a second slower. How did you mount that thing in a car anyway. The ones I've seen in magazines or in person had basically a frame built onto it and usually mounted inverted if I remember. I thought you were kidding. Did you like the sound of it and hopefully you were able to make your money back.

He is kidding

He had 2.

You could easily measure to see if an 18 would fit facing out. I'm pretty sure it would just the enclosure would have to be carefully designed.

I think it's like 17-19" from trunk floor to rear deck. You may run into clearance issues.
