Are you referring to the Kicker Comp CVRs? I had two 12" CVRs in my 95 Maxima enclosed in two seperate sealed 1 cu/foot boxes. I powered them with a Kenwood 1600 watt mono amp, and it rocked pretty hard. I sold them one year later to my friend because I noticed they were tearing my car apart (car was rattling to pieces). Notice I placed them in sealed boxes, but I coudn't imagine the power and bass those subs could pound out while in a ported box. Either way, supply enough power and place them in the right sized boxes, and these are pretty bad *** subs for the money. I know Kicker sells premade ported boxes engineered for the CVRs, so I would take a look at their website and check out the dimensions on these boxes.

Most of us would go by the subs specs, and build it so it would fit in the car. Thats what you should do.
