I have an 89' Max and the tape deck is shot and it shuts off without notice. I've shopped around to different place and they all say that I would have to buy a whole new system. I dont believe it though. I want to know if an aftermarket HU can be used with the BOSE speakers, and what do i need to make them work. Thanks

 

An aftermarket deck will play through your Bose system. All you need is an inverter by Peripheral or Soundgate for the system to work. The place you went to that told you that it would not work is full of $hit
