Bose Questions

i would be really glad if someone could enlighten me a little.
1. what is the output voltage range of the HU (to the amp)
a) to the speakers
b) sub
2. what is the output voltage range of the "amp"
3. what the hell is the design of the sub, i took the bottom plastic cower off today and realized that there is no magnet, and completely nothing on the bottom of it. i have zero knowledge of that kind of subs.

FYI i have new 6.5" speakers in front and rear doors installed already and received my ID8 D4 today, will put it in Wednesday, i'm planing on using Alphasonik PMA5753A with all of this.

I don't think anyones ever measured it, however it's not enough to run your spaekers effectively.

i know, stock are 2 ohms and the ones i put it are 4, so they get roughly half the power, but i will change the amp, and want to be safe as for input voltage, the Alphasonik i mentioned above can take up to 8 volts and i hope that Bose HU puts out much less

FYI: Image Dynamics ID8 v.3 has max RMS 150, not 300 that a lot of places online claim. if anyone wants response graph and other technical data i can upload it.

The input wil be fine, the bose HU uses low level outputs so you can splice those with rca's and install them into your amp.
