New door speakers

I am looking to replace the speakers in all the doors of my 6th gen. I replaced the rear deck with infinity reference before I replaced the factory deck. I have a Rockford 12”in the trunk and I just want some speakers with good mid bass. I am looking to spend about 200 for the components in the front door and 150 for the rear doors. What brands do ya'll recommend and is my price range realistic.

P.S. I don't plan on amping these

what about this...

spend the 200 on components like Rainbow or Hertz, then use the rear door speaker money for an amp?

Def bump up your budget on the front stage. Rainbow SLC's up front and some kx's in the rear. or you could add the $ you have for the front and rears together and bump up to a higher line and use the front stage alone w/o rears. You would have top add more for that option as well.

If you have a non-Bose stereo and/or an aftermarket radio, there would be no amp bypass needed.

If you're going to spend $350 on front/rear speakers, then you really need to amp them. Deck power is not sufficient for any speakers outside of what you can buy at Target/Walmart/Kragen. Especially since you say you want "good mid bass". I'm not saying you need to spend a lot on an amp, though.

As far as buying things from places like OnlineCarStereo ... read the sticky on the top of the forum about buying things online. Caveat Emptor.

I read the sticky. I'm scared straight now. Where can i pick up speakers. The local shops don't really have high end stuff. Memphis audio is about as good as it gets out here

When did you send it? Cause he's a busy man sometimes and the best way to reach him is usually his number.

there are PLENTY of good speakers you could buy for around 100 and spend the other 100 on an amp. no amped aftermarket speakers are a waste of money imo.
