GD interests for Critical Mass subs?
Just gauging some interests here before goin all out...
http://www.criticalmassaudio.com/sssubs.html
Those that know or have heard these subs know their performance and will Not be dissapointed. Excelent quality products that perform better than they look. Backed by a company with stellar support. A few locals here have had the chance to own/use/play with em and never left em displeased.

C-mass SS82 -
Great sub, gets low and stays accurate with all kinds of music. Not recommended free-air but I used mine that way anyways and they sounded EXCELLENT. I am contemplating another pair.
Anyways, they may not look nice in pics, but in person they are VERY well built and logically built at that. The VC is vented and allows excellent cooling. The cone material is something I've never seen before. It's definately a sweet design. Much more impressive in person -
You can see one of the vents on the basket for the coil here:
the pole is vented as well
super stiff and solid cone
Now this sub is rated at 500rms in an enclosure. I had 550 rms running to each one IB, my guess is that they could easily take 750 - 1000 rms each in 8" trim and do it without a problem in an enclosure of course ONLY if you know what you are doing and how to properly manage/set gains....
Don, I might be willing to step back into them or into possibly a 12", any idea on a pair of the 8's or one 12" gd price?

For their price even at full SRP theyre quite hard to beat. Very musical with sufficent output. Of course the UL12 on the other hand is ... ZomG !

eD and their subs are no where near these C-mass subs. After a recent conversation I had in regards to how they handle their customers, including people who compete with their products, I will never ever give a dime to eD.

Well that's valid reasoning. I've been out of the car audio loop for a few years now and "the new hotness" in car audio seems to change quickly. One brand can be the rage for a year or two and then there will inevitably be something else to take its place. Add to that the fact that any company's quality and/or CS can take a nosedive, and it makes things very confusing if you don't keep up with it.
I hadn't even heard of Critical Mass subs until I stumbled upon this thread!
