Rear deck speaker recommendations

The rear deck speakers in my 95 Max SE have rotted and I'm looking for replacement recommendations. I had a stock, non-Bose, system but replaced it with a Kenwood 50 watt x 4 am/fm/cd unit. I have MB Quarts in the front doors, but don't want to spend that much on the rear speakers.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for a direct fit. I've had Alpine speakers in the past and loved them. Thanks again.

ive got pioneer TSA-something or others.....they are 4-ways, i have them all around, and they sound excellent hooked up to my kenwood 50x4 deck, but i do have a 4-channel amp to hook up to them, just havent had the time yet.

I have boston's. I would say, that its pretty much not an option on what to do. You get one set of component speakers, and one set of coaxial. Power then with a 4 channel amp. (NOT YOUR HEAD UNIT)
then add subs if you like bass.

differ from this and your stereo will suck.

NOTE: I also choice component for the front 4 speakers because there is already premade holes n what not for the speakers. I believe jimmy rigging anytihng in the cars body . IE Cutting holes is for Wack suckas like Cory and Trevor.

..........and oh..

I like my kenwoods. I have a kenwood head unit along with kenwood door speakers and rear deck. They are the "ie" series. Great for the money

since your HU is putting out like 23-25 rms wattage.. get any 2 way speaker with rms wattage close to that. those fancier 3 or 4 way speakers have a recommended rms wattage of like 50-60 rms and your HU wont be able to make those sound good without an amp. it will actually sound worse than non good condition stocky speakers. rear speakers are basically for fill, and dont matter too much unless your a complete audiophile.
