Need Help ..Tweeter Popping?

This morning my tweeters starting popping when i turned my music almost all the way up, for example 57/62 and varying from different songs. I noticed it was in the 5hz so i tried buying some new tweets and replacing them. Still getting the same pop, so it's not the tweeters, it's happening if i use rather a cd or my Mp3 Flash drive on my HU . If i turn 5k all the way down on the Eq then of course the noise goes away but so does my music. Any Ideas? Cant be the tweeters, i tried 3 different sets. All new.

57/62 is too high...re-adjust your gains because that Pioneer radio is clipping its signal...have your max volume set around 43-46.

What slick said. Sounds like your clipping the amp.

You don't want to go that high on the volume because it causes distortion. Just like you don't want to go beyond 3/4 gain on amp because it usually causes distortion unless your signal is just that weak.

Maybe the radio's outputs have began overheating.

You have caused this problem over time by doing what you shouldnt be to begin with.

If your car is capable of doing 140mph does that mean you should do it regularly? How long do you think the engine will like you?

Do yourself a favor and get an amp before reinstalling.

You can run as many subs as you want off a mono amp as long as the final ohm load is fine for the amp, and as long as you have the subs wired properly.

Don't do anything until you find a decent amp for the interiors...most significant audio upgrade I did (4 years ago).

4 channel amp? Best buy?!?! How much did you spend? Why not make the 10 minute drive to Don's house and get a better amp from him?
