I've actually been thinking of going back down to a 10" sub.......

 

Im well aware on both accounts, hence the reason for not owning either.

 

I did and had no problems or regrets. Although now Im awaiting installing a UL12, just dont wanna go through the work for the car to leave me.

 

What are you getting to replace the G?

 

Havent decided yet, although Im contemplating the Tahoe or Expedition. Plenty of fun stuff and space !

Lucky that you get to use the UL12... I've heard great things about it. I'm really trying not to spend more money on my system but if a good deal on a UL12 comes along i might have to sell some subs i have sitting around to buy one

JL needs to realize that if it weren't for their HEAVILY induced sales reps working at territorially-controlled shops pimping their gear, anyone could be in the position they are in. Meaning, any company could have purchased their way to prominence (if Alpine's not careful they'll be accused of the same thing--which may be leading to the blowback that is the resurgence of Pioneer's popularity)--and left JL in the same league as Lightning--which isn't a huge stretch to compare BTW.

I goofed on him for the same thing about a year ago, but I think we both understand that it is the dealer's job to advocate his lines. What people never seem to ask though is why prominent lines AREN'T carried at certain high-quality shops. You might get an answer that's uncomfortable to your perceptions of certain products.
