Oh and law, don't let the comments about the SE get you to change your mind. They are amazing subs. I just don't like the company any more.

I have no personal experience with the GTi. I have never wanted to spend that much on subs. What makes you think the GTi's are superior?

My ears dont lie. What makes you think otherwise ?

What exactly is 'that much' anyway ? You had TDXs, so I guess you did want to spend 'that much' at one point, no ?

If I was employed I would spring for both and build them both the optimum enclosure and test them. I am more interested in what Don thinks qualifies the GTi as such a supirior opponent. Just for conversation sake. I have been learning more and more about design aspects and how they can effect different parameters as well as over all performance. Just was curious.

And as soon as I get a job, I will have the shop up and running, so doing a comparison would be very easy. I could use the F150 as a sound bed. I also have access to a TermLab if needed. I am sure Kevin would be down as well.

Unfortunately you are biased, it would not be a fair test. I can perform the same challenge and have a SA3055, but the biased issue would still come into play ..
