got bored awhile ago. drew up my new box for a 12" Fi Q. i was highly considering to try a transmission line box, but eh, i'm still a noob when it comes to more technical stuff....and i don't think i have the patience to constantly mess with the tline to get it right for my sub. i still want to build one later on though. but heres what i have in mind...

now i gotta calculate port length and such.

well started construction on the box. it's really my first enclosure with kerf'ed panels. i reallllllly need to get some big clamps. that would have made things MUCH easier.

yes i'm using screws just to mess with Don

no clamps, so i had to ghetto rig it somehow. it works.

a tiny crack started to form. i put some glue on it. seems to help it from spreading.

starting to kerf the other port piece...

waiting to get bent into shape.

thats all for now. gonna try to finish the box tomorrow when the sub arrives!

oh, a lot more? i thought they were going ~220 or so....or was that for the GD only?

he's currently running a set of crystals 6.5" components in his xB. they sound like p00p. tweets are pretty harsh no matter how i tweak and tune it.

That was for the GD, but even still if they were that price ... on a $150 scale an additional $70 isnt alot more? Thats nearly 50%
