So on a more positive note. I just ordered a pair of Havoc 12"s D.7's and a hoodie to match. So the construction on the doors begins tomorrow. New baffles for the mids, angles added. And a little grunt work on the sails to better angle my cal27's. Then I will throw in the ZX850.4 and start tuning. I am going to get a nice baseline on both sets of mids and learn the active network in the 880 before I throw the subs into the mix. Yeah, it may be a waste, but not to me. Woot! it will be close to 70 tomorrow so I can go outside and work.

When you're getting married and have to buy a house this site becomes pure torture for the fiscally challenged, you know.

Honestly, I've worked my way up to more of a 'comfortable' situation, but truth be told, that does not mean my happiness has improved one iota. It's all relative to enjoying the life you have, not the one you want to have.

I feel you, I see your vocabulary is still 90% above and beyond the grasp of the rest of the .org. Glad that hasn't changed! Glad to have you "back" hope you stick around brotha.

L-O-L!

Consider my lapse to be nothing more than a "sabbatical"; I am hoping to contribute even greater to the boards now that I have a garage (finally)! The only unfortunate thing, I have come to remember, is just how GODDAMN addicted I was/am to this site, much the the chagrin of the missus!

It'll be fun to have you back, and make fun of you then look in awe at your build logs (If you do anything as epic as before).

No doubt I missed the periodic raking over the coals, but I suppose that's the Sadist in me talking. Plenty of more building logs to come, that much I can confirm.

I am holding off until Friday to order my router, if I do at all. I want it to do some roundovers and cut the speaker holes and port holes for the precision ports, but I need them to go on sale.

Welcome back BTW. We have converted the old Audio forum to the new/old style OT. Fortunately the Don was able to protect this safe haven for us.

So what's everyone's plans for the weekend? Tonight will consist of cleaning the fishtank, gutting the Max interior, and cleaning, cleaning, CLEANING before family comes over tomorrow for teh gobble gobble.

Thanksgiving morning I drop the Max off, sans dash, which is always interesting...

I gutted my interior too. Not to the extent you did. I hope to finish the new baffles for the mids and get all the wiring in to go active, install the ZX850.4 and get to tuning. Depending on how long that takes, I would like to possibly get the final dimensions for the new box put down on the 4' x 8' 3/4" MDF and order my ports.

Should be fun.

Ok I'll talk about my car too.

I just drive it now.
Home ->work -> school -> home
(repeat)

Looks almost stock with the exception of the audio.

I'll be upgrading my alarm soon.

That's pretty much it!

Similar, except school takes place on-line and not upgrading my alarm.

Nice box.

Are those rings for it? How did you make them interchangeable without making a bazillion holes in your box?
