No problem. I'll even try to get a daytime shot so you can see how littered with crap his lawn looks when not illuminated.

Front rotors just came in. Waiting for Rears and front brake bads. I hope to get the brakes delivered and completed this week. I continued work on the new baffles. This will be my first time glassing. So don't laugh too hard. The glass will be to reinforce the main "shaft" (go ahead and make jokes) of the baffle.

The baffle is made up of 4, 1/2" MDF rings. The bottom 2 rings are cut to have mounting flanges and a third to add depth. The 4th ring is used for depth and angle. I am using a 1-3/4" block at a specific point to provide the angle I wanted. I need to go to HD/Lowes to get some chopped matte to strengthen the sides. The I will try and make it look as good as I can. This will all be covered up by the stock door panel, so I am not incredibly worried about asthetics.

Here is the first step. I see some areas that I didn't stretch correctly. This won't be an issue though, as I can sand after I glass and bondo a bit.

Yes. And trying to play pool whilst high is not as much fun as I had originally thought.

I am honestly not willing to share this video with you guys. You may think I am a ***, but have you ever watched something happen or seen someone speak and actually get choked up. I have a pretty amazing life. The majority of you do too if you would sit for a minute and think about all the interesting things that happen to you and all the things you do have.

Reflections rarely happen for me. So take it while it is here.

Don, how long does Bondo need before it can be sanded? I think I used too much hardener. I only had 1 minute before it was unworkable.

Depends on amount of hardener, temperature and humidity.

Here ya go fegs. My first ever attempt at glassing and bondo.

It will be hidden, so I suppose it isn't all that bad. The first time is always the ugliest, so the next should turn out better. The angle is perfect.

Be easy as it is my first time. I need to do a better job at mixing the resin and hardener as well as the mixing of the bondo and hardener. Both set faster than I had anticipated. I will work on this as I do the other door. This was inttended to be a scrap practice run, but I am going to use it as it turned out better than I though. I will be painting it flat black tomorrow. It will all be hidden by a grill I am going to fab up once these are installed.

So tell me what you think.

Thanks. Let me hone my skills a bit. I bet these will look good once they are covered/painted. I wish I knew someone here that had an Altima so I could measure and do a test run on them. I am sure I could do it.

Pics? Show me what you want. I will tell you if I can pull it off. It sounds even more simple than what I did.

These are 5th gen kicks, somewhat similar to mine but you see where the mid and tweet is mounted? that area needs to be extended out about 1/2" so the speakers fit and the kicks fit back in place. My kicks are more flat.

I see. Looks like it should be an easy task. I will do it when I get back from PA. I will PM you with My address and about how much the materials would be if you really want me to do it. It took me 3 days to do this test panel, but I am sure I can accelerate that to a day if I just work on them. I will need the cutout diameter of the drivers as well.

The shape of the SE-R kicks are VERY similar to flatness of the 6th gen kicks.

I received the video, but won't watch it until I'm in the right state of mind (just got home from work - had a holiday dinner with the dept, with many many bottles of wine) I probably won't think it's ghey.
