I just got an 04 maxima and i was looking to install a double din navigation in there.. here is my dillema i can not for the life of me find a double din dash bezel to install it in. Can some one point me in the right direction.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

 

there isn't one. you have to cut out the cd pocket from the metra single DIN kit. then you'll have room for a double din unit.

 

I just received my Metra kit today for my 2005 maxima 6mt and that kit does not even come close to matching the factory color of silver that I have on my dash. Has anyone else noticed that??

 

Thats because the kit was made for the 04 which has a slightly different color silver of the dash. It matches very well on some 6th gens, not so great on others.

yep! thats the one that I bought. It is more of a gun metal gray, and my dash is more silver. I think I am just going to machine out the factory face to make room for my Clarion MAX675VDii.

 

the color mismatch isn't that noticeable. i'm using the metra kit and if i don't point out the difference in color, my passengers never notice.

 

Thats cause all of their eyes are only half open.
