800 Watts Peak power handling
400 Watts Rms
2.25 Alum voice coil
20hz to 4kz frequency response
50 oz magnet
94db sensitivity
5.25" mounting depth
Btw this is a Boss 12" Sub
can someone explain what each of those things mean.
For instance 2.25 voice coil... is that big or small what is an ideal size to have, same with th e magnet , and the sensitivity? no clue what a good sub should include..
I have a power acoustik 500 W 2 ch amp
300 W Rms
Will the sub be able to handle it,
cuz i member blowing my pioneer 400W
400 Watts Rms

With the 2.25 voice coil thing, i'm not really sure about...but i'm not sure if it's really important or not.
And ohms is the measure of resistance...i'm guessing your sub is 4 ohms.
Your setup seems fine to me too....
