Aftermarket Head unit , stock bose speakers ???

Can i do that
i would like to use a new head unit like a panasonic or something and pump the stock bose speakers

reason for htis is my headunit failed me and it just ejects my cds and shuts off on its own

converters are available to allow you to use aftermarket HUs with bose speakers. The problem i see is that since bose uses its own amps, any head unit you buy is going to provide mearly a signal for the bose amps to work with, and you wont have power gains from the HU. The converters are around $100 i think, so thats a set of front speakers. A little more and you have a good system.

BOSE = Better Off Singing Evertime :Laugh:
