I am looking to get and Alpine head and DVD for my MAX.. On Ebay I can find the CVA1005 and the dva5200 together for like $1000 if I go with the IVA800 it costs just a little more. What re you rexperiences with Ebay or ordering online in general?? I am kinda skeptical about the Ebay thing but if your opinions are good I will go through with it. Thanks for any help you can give on this

The IVAC800 only has an in dash cd NOT cd/dvd
Go with the CVA1005/DVA5200 package...just be careful...pixels can go bad on a screen and once they do you have to replace the whole screen. Buying stuff on E-Bay is cool but be concerned about monitors...Last thing...no warranty at all when you buy it...

I wouldnt be skeptical about the ebay deal, as long as the seller has a good rep.

I think the IVAC is very slick -- much nicer than having two units. However, u can't watch DVD's with the IVAC, so..

Also the DVA-5200 has some annoying bugs that they fixed with the 5205. Like, if you're watching a movie, and you turn the car off, it doesn't remember where you left off. Also subtitles stay on by default every time you turn it on and you have to manually disable them each time. A few little annoyances like that in the 5200.
