I am thinking of getting a new cd player and am undecided of which one to get. I was looking at the alpine cda-7863 or the sony xplod cdx-m670 with the two display screens. I have never really liked the sony decks but this looks pretty cool. Now the alpine looks even better. Just want to get an opinion from you guys on those or some others that run around the same price range of around 350-400 bucks. Also I just got a kenwood kgc-6042a equalizer to add to my stereo, so maybe that will affect on what deck to get.

There are really so many out there, it depends on what you are looking for, ie expansion like amps, soundquality, display, security, plus ordering some places online will save you up to half of what ud pay at say best buy. Let us know what u want as far as all of that stuff and we can better help you choose something.

Well I have a kenwood amp the supports my mids and highs, then I have a rockford fosgate amp that supports my kicker 12 inch speakers,(I plan on getting a kicker impulse amp for my kicker 12's really soon), and a kenwood kgc-6042a eq. I want something that will look really good at night but also during the day without all the glare you get on some of these units where you can't even see the screen. I want a detachable face for sure...I hope that will help you guys to help me....thanx

Buy the Alpine. The crappy Sony HU will break within a year.
