Audio Install
I just installed my sub and amp on saturday the toughest part of the whole install was getting to the bose.
Use the following technique:
(I have a 5spd if you have an auto I am not sure)
start at the bottom and pull the panel from around the shifter up. Best way is to apply force toward the front of the car and pull from the back. Now that the clip is disconnected it should slide right off after you disconnect the cig lighter. now you have a screw by the ashtray remove that and the ashtray will slide out. Now the fun begins...get a good panel popper (trim remover) from an auto store. Next thing that comes out is the vents and climate control. Place the trim remover on the clips and pop it off...there are 3 one in the middle, one on the left side and right side of the vents. This is the pain in the *** part...snap all the clips and use alot of force to get it out. from there you will see 2-3 screws remove those and the HU is easily accessible.
Hope that helps if you have any other questions let me know.
I just did mine saturday it isn't too hard but it is time consuming.
