Just wondering if you could explain something to me since you seem to be the in house exp. You know the new pioneer premier HU that retails around 630? Well the guy at my local shop who was telling me about it's features said that it actually comes with a microphone and a CD that plays a certain type of noise, you pop in the cd. close your doors and windows, attach the mic, it will actually adjust the direction the soundwaves travel in so that they are set up perfectly for the driver ... this sounded like utter BS to me, but if it's not how does that work ... especially with non pioneer tweets/cones etc...?
I haven't heard that feature on a Pioneer deck before. It could be something new on their units this year. Check out www.pioneerelectronics.com and check out their car audio section to see if it has that feature. I haven't carried Pionner in about 3 years, so I'm not familiar with their current features.

Since this is now the ask maximadave post, do you see any problems with this setup:
Pioneer 4x50 CD/Tuner HU with 13band Eq
2 pioneer TS-1241 Subs (max 1000 RMS 500) wired in parallel in a prefab Qlogic box (meets the specs for the subs head on)
1 Rockford Fosgate BD1500 (for the subs)
1 4 channel SQ amp (i'm leaning towards MTX or another RF) for 2 1 inch tweets and 2 4 inch cones up front in the stock slots and then kickplates which i haven't decided yet.

I just replied on your other thread but basically sounds like a good system. Use a Rockford amp to match your other one, just in case you want to do something customer later down the road.

Do you carry JL audio's 8 inch freeair or infinite baffle speakers, I have a 10 inch kenwood and would like to add a little midbass in the space where the factory sub is located. If you do let me know, i forgot how you ship or if you ship at all. If i recall you in San Diego where I happen to be working this weekend but I'm going back to gardena tomorrow...later
Sorry I don't carry any free air subs. Very few mfg. make them because their bass response is very boomy and not that acurate. I'm also running a single JL 10W3D6 and sounds great. On your amp see if you have an adjustable crossover on it so you can get some better sound out of your sub.

About 3 years ago, here in San Diego I used to work for a company called DOW Stereo/Video. It was a privately held company with 9 stores here in San Diego, California. After 30 years in business the owner wanted to retire and Tweeter was in the market to move into southern California, so it was more like a marriage made in heaven. Tweeter carries more upper-mid to high end audio, video and car audio merchandise. Alot more than what DOW used to carry. I'm definately more happy now that the old DOW days. Pay is better, I can now take Saturdays and Sundays off to meet my fellow Maxima enthusiasts where I couldn't before. Anyways, DOW used to carry Pioneer Premier which is their more upscale line and Tweeter does not carry Pioneer for the car, only Pioneer Elite home audio and their more upscale big screen tv's. Unfortunately, our contract with Pioneer only allows us to special order Pioneer home audio/video and not car. Believe me I wish I can special order Pioneer car but it is not allowed...I hope this makes sense...sorry to ramble on.

... on a compeletely unrelated note, anyone ever written up a business proposal for starting their own store? The kind of thing you need for bank loans etc...
