okkkk finnally got some pix up. hahahah. but neways for those of you curious about how to modify the ac vent peice or filling in that fat hole.. then here's how i did it. the plastic rectangle in the dash kit is constructed out of abs plastic i bought at "tap plastic inc." i sanded the sucker down with coarse sand paper so til it fit the contour of the dash, then i sanded it with a finer grit (220) then finally wet sanded it using i think 2000grit. that lil peice was cut out of a 12"x12" peice of abs plastic. the thickness i think was around 1/4 inch. i used a jig saw..

heres a pic of the dash kit with the plastic peice mounted in

here's a pic of the ac vent and the plastic filler peice lying side by side.

i hope this helps for some of yall that are wondering how to custom the fit the dashh.. i'll have pics of the dash kit around the stereo soon.. it seems to me my comp is only allowing one pic a day.. i dont' knwo it's being a punk to me... hahaha.
