Yeah, i know, you probably don't reccomend anything "cheap" since you get what you pay for but....
I'd like to get a monitor in the car, flat screen or built in for the dash, doesn't matter much, whatever is cheaper Where can I get something 5-7" that I can later hook up to a VCR, playstation etc..? Also, how much am I looking at here? I was thinking in the range of no more than 250$? is this possible?

 

look on ebay for monitors ...

fold out monitors for the dash are going to be way more than the $250 unless you get used and small ... two qualities that should never go together

 

EBAY...make sure its a name brand monitor for the car ie..Alpine, Kenwood, etc.

Ebay will most likely have the cheapest prices and with a $250 budget ... he can't afford to be too picky.

 

I still think Ebay is not the best place for prices. It's like with most other things.. but, here is 1 I found, although i'd have to do some work to fit it into the center console:

has anyone heard of the MAX2256 clarion double din head unit, it has a LCD screen built right into the head unit and no need for it to fold out. any input on that monitor i am looking at maybe getting it in the future.

 

That thing is really bulky and the screen is not that big at all. Oh yeah it cost as much as the Eclipse 7301 which looks a whole lot better.
