Bose question

Hey, I was wondering how easy it would be to put in a 1000 watt amp into, a stock system being amplified already how hard is it?...Could the system handle it? If not should i just anti up the cash and put in some cerwin vega's or other such speakers. Just tring to get my facts strait. Thanks for all the input. P.S. I got some 15's to go with the system, how hard would it be to tap into the stock system. thanks again....

1000 watts into the stock speakers?!???! Well if its a pyramid amp it wont be a problem, but a true 1000 watts would fry the shiet out of the crappy bose speakers
