I have a brand new unopened Rockford Fosgate 800 A2 Amplifier if anyone is interested. Actual wattage is 998 watts. Trades for exhaust for '91 Max is welcome.

I read that a little too quick and thought it read "will trade for '91 Max"... "

Is that a mono amp or is the 998 watts with the two channels bridged?

It's a two channel and you can bridge it to run 998 to both subs or run them seperately at 499 apiece

Of course you can test wattage output. Haven't you read any car audio mags? They always test the output. RF amps come with a birth sheet that shows the output of that particular amp. That is probably where he got that number from.

I bought the amp in September and have ever taken it out of it's box. The wrapping is still on it and there is no warranty. I live in Pennsylvania which of course is in the US.
