In my 20th AE maxima, i have 2 jl audio 12w3's. I was thinking about taking out one and leaving a single 12 12w3 and running about 450 through it instead of my 200 watts into each of my 12w3's that i have now. Would that make any difference in sound? Is that a good or bad idea?

 

The more power you give to your sub the more effecient your system would be...more power to your W3's will not hurt them at all just as long as your amps are dialed in correctly...
