Bose?

I just got a 97 se 5spd and the Bose system is being repaired by the nissan dealer that I bought it from. The sales manager said he didn't know when he was getting it back so I am without a radio for a couple of weeks. I drive alot so I decided to put an old sony HU in until the bose comes in. I went out and got a harness and connected everything and hoked it all up. When it powered up the antenna went nuts for a couple seconds and sound only comes out of the rear right speaker. When I turn the volume all the way down the beep tone of the buttons is very loud and I can hear the music coming from the one speaker. If I turn it up one push of the button it is extremly loud and distorted.
I hooked up all the wires from the harness to the HU, accept the illumination and dimmer. Two of the wires on the HU I was not sure of(ANT REM MAX 0.1A and AMP REM MAX 0.3A). I hooked these up as followsANT REM MAX 0.1A<-->power ant +)and (AMP REM MAX 0.3A<-->amp turn on). I also connected the amp ground from the harness to the ground from the harness and the HU.
What is wrong with this setup? Can I run the bose speakers/amps with this sony HU? Do I have this wired right?
I need help quick, as much as I like listening to the Max run, I need my music.
Thanks, tED (sorry its so long)
