CD7100 USB noise

Ok so I've had my CD7100 for a few months now and most of the problems I've figured workarounds too or figured out how to do things even though there was poor documentation in the owners manua. One thing that annoys me is some songs will make a "pop" or some kind of noise that is only audible through the tweeters when the song is between vocals or starting and there's silence. It doesn't do it when I play the same exact song on an MP3 CD only when using the USB input. Anybody else have this issue or heard of it. I hate the fact I paid that much and and other than the sound quality I'm not really that pleased with this thing. I feel like I should have saved some money and got the Alpine Ipod model or upped to a Nav unit and put everything on DVD's.

Yep common problem..... I knew about it before I got my first CD7100... thought maybe it wouldn't happen with a later run or a later model oh wells.

I get occasional pops, on my clarion unit, as well. However, in my case, I'm fairly certain it has to do with the rips. A lot of my favorite cd's were copies (had to sell the originals...don't ask). I've been finding that the ones that were ripped from copies have the highest tendency to have random popping.

If this is such a known problem shouldn't eclipse be responsible for fixing this or at least letting people know this before they buy. I wish I would have known this before I bought it I would have chose something else. Do any of the IPod ready units have this problem? I went usb because I didn't have an Ipod and have no use for one.
