What's a good car alarm?

hey all,

I'm looking for a security/remote start system for my new 2002 car.
I've been doing some research online and just haven't found a good objective source of information where i can actually do side-by-side comparisons.

Here's what I'm looking for:
- 2 way paging w extended range
- LCD screen
- would like it to control windows/trunk/defroster
- remote start (auto tranny)
- auto ignition/fuel cutoff

Know any good installers in the northern/central NJ area?

Thanks, JP

Yeah, I've been doing some research on DEI and they sure do have a lot of brand names out there with pretty similar products.
I wonder why they need like 10+ brand names.

They also void the warranty if you install it yourself.
Not that I don't trust their products. My 95's had a Python system for over 10yrs.

So from what I see the only difference between the brands seems to be price?

That's my guess, as well. I'm looking to invest in a remote start system with an LCD remote that can roll my windows down (with an additional module for the 2000, damn you, Nissan!!!). Somebody was selling a Hornet for dirt cheap, but nobody around me can install it! I called 5 different places, and they only install exactly what they sell and can't recommend anyone else.
