Aftermarket HU Bose System

This ques. was probably answered already but im having to much trouble finding it through search. Got a 4th gen Bose system with the dying CD player and I want to install a Kenwood HU a MP535U I got the Scosche amp interface and a Antenna Adapter, is this all I need? And do I have to Bypass the factory amps? I want to install it myself and save myself $65 I was talking on the phone with an Installer he said I will have to bring my car in and the will have to take a look at it because of the factory amps (and here I thought Maximas were common). I just want to make sure before I tear into this thing

You have to option of bypassing the amps and using those speakers. I reccomend you replaced the speakers and run new wires. Because They are going to charge you more than $65 for the install they have to bypass all the amps if you want to keep those speakers and bose sucks anyway.

The amp interface should be all you need... That'll output a usable signal for the Bose amps. I did the same as you for my 2000, new Alpine HU, amp interface, subs, and left the Bose speakers (and disconnected the Bose sub).
