I got some ED EHQS 8s laying around, can't find the actual measurements (not the eDuh ones) but the QTS was somewhere around the .5 area and the FS was around 50hz...pretty good midbass candidates...

They are going to get a lot of modding before going in though. Cone treatment, frame reinforcement/dampening, and phase plugs...

I will likely invest 10-15 bucks into them, so 30-35 dollars for possibly a kick *** midbass pair

are those 8" woofer? cuz u might have a lil trouble there

Yup 8s have been done several times 4th gens...its just the depth I am concerned of...

kool that should be very nice im gettin plenty out of my 7" it just looked like when the woofer would excursion (or come out for the lows) it would hit the doorpanel. hope u write up a good build log!

those arent the ports that is where the wire is being ran through look at the pics of the box and u will see the ports they are if i recall 36 in^2 somethin like that each

sounds great for the low powered subs

his vocals were much more prominent compared to mine. me thinks i need some good equalizing to resolve this 'problem.' trav heard my setup as well.

yeah, i think it might have been the MP3s...i lose a bit of fidelity with them since they're only encoded at 128 kbps. with normal cds, my highs sounds pretty normal.

had to do a lil work on the hole to make the subs basket fit
