4th gen Max 2-way active!
well my baffles are 2" inches think and with this the door panel doenst exactly fit back properly there is like an 1/8" gap i would say at the bottom of the door. if i recall they were like 3 & 1/8" deep im think 3.5 will be cuttin it pretty close. i cant recall how much space i had but i know it was enough sry. if i would guess i would say there was maybe a .25 to a .5 of an inch behind there maybe more.

Maybe if I use three 3/4 inch baffles...We shall see
I got some ED EHQS 8s laying around, can't find the actual measurements (not the eDuh ones) but the QTS was somewhere around the .5 area and the FS was around 50hz...pretty good midbass candidates...
They are going to get a lot of modding before going in though. Cone treatment, frame reinforcement/dampening, and phase plugs...
I will likely invest 10-15 bucks into them, so 30-35 dollars for possibly a kick *** midbass pair

kool that should be very nice im gettin plenty out of my 7" it just looked like when the woofer would excursion (or come out for the lows) it would hit the doorpanel. hope u write up a good build log!
