Man it's not that much at all....

Don't believe the hype..maybe in the beggining when it was first released but now the it's more competition therefore prices have drop u can get screens for the headrest anywhere from 200 a piece and be smart drop the dream cast get a ps2 there go your Video game and DVD player...and you still are under a grand..or just get the 7002 and a DVD player

I just did this to my ride in the center console. I found a 5.6" LCD for the front for 200 bucks. A Playstation II for 300 Plays DVDS and Playstation games. You need either a headunit that accepts auxilary inputs 200-500 whatever you wanna get OR if you wanna use your head unit buy an FM modulator for 50 bucks. Plus you need about 100 dollars in wires, RCA's, and a Power inverter to plug the playstation into.. Thats it.. Really not that expensive.

I have high quality headrest mount 5.6" LCD's for only $199 each. 224,000 pixels

I also have higher quality 5.6" screens with remote control and on screen programming for $249 & $299. 249,000 pixels

I also have a top of the line 7" Widescreen for only $499 that includes more features than I have ever saw on a LCD. 289,000 pixels

Here's a pic of the $199 screens in my headrests.
(the dash screen is a $1200 Eclipse 7002) and you can't tell the difference. They both have the same picture.

Here is the 7" widescreen.
(I forgot to mention I also have 8" screens (not widescreen) for $499 also) You have to see to believe the 8" screens look huge and have an excellent picture.

For a while.
The prices shouldn't go back up until the economy gets better.

how is that mounted on the dash where the clock housing is? Does it fold flush with the dash, or is it always visible? I am thinking of doing something similar. I like what you have done, nice and clean.
