Best place to buy install supplies???

Just wondering if anyone knew good places to buy supplies??

Things like:
Bell caps
butt connectors
spade plugs
speaker clips

Hopefully even a place that sells
wire harnesses ( radio harness and oem plug )
Hard wired fm modulators
Dash kits...

etc...

I understand they are high markup items, so Hopefully a place that sells them for reasonable prices. Example, Beach audio has wire harnesses for installing a Headunit in a Toyota for about 4.99 and up.

Connectors and such I've purchased from Eghey. It's a good deal for the money.

I wouldnt even bother with internet sites. Your best bet is to go into a local mom & pop stereo shop and buy handfuls from them.. they'll charge you the least, no shipping, no waiting...

Haha, $5 will get you ~10 connectors.

I buy bags of hundreds for that much.

I get my *most* of my stuff from Micro - have a business account with them. But I haven't ordered from them in soo long.

A bag of a hundred cost me around $14 or so now. I went back to all 3M though. The cheapies were about half the cost, but broke alot.

Clear plastic ones are better than the solid plastic ones, that crack a lot. I haven't bought in so long that the prices very well could have increased.

Ive probably seen 2 or 3 cracekd in thousands of mostly solid plastic ones. I think it depends on the brand.. 3M makes great stuff.

Blah, it's possible you're right. I still prefer the ones that are transparent colored plastic vs the ones that are almost waxy.

it all depends on where you want to go. radioshack is terribly overpriced and i only go there in a pinch. Little mom and pop circuit shops are a dying breed as there are replaced by larger and internet vendors. Personally i have never been luck enough to find a good mom and pop store or be lucky enough to have a business discount for a company im not running lol. I always purchase my **** online, only when i am looking for something very specific would i get ou the phonebook and start calling local vendors.
