Help with Equlizers/ Line Drivers

After looking at all of my preferences and demoing, I got my audio system. For the reciever, i've got a Alpine iDA-X100 because I don't use CDs, I don't listen to the radio (in MY car), and all my music playing is sourced out of ipods and hard drives, so it's perfect for me. Sound quality, nada nada!!!

What i'm looking for is a 1/2 - 1 DIN Equilizer/ Linedriver

I have eyes on the Three.1 from audio control but they seem to be hard to get, plus i think its a 3 band eq anyway. But the output seems off the hook. i've been looking at 7 band ones; Clarion EQS746 and SoundStream MPQ-7XO but I haven't seen alot of demos or reviews on em. I'm only trusting the specs from the words of thier employees. I want to make sure they are line drivers and the pre-amp is not depended on the deck. If anyone can give someinput that would be great..and i think i'll be finished with this audio thing for a while...thanks

i am actually in the market for similar equipment to what you are looking for. My alpine deck maxes out at 35 and 35 isnt even pushing the stock bose system like the original HU could. I also want more control of the levels and what not. Plus, i dont use the bottom din, might as well stick and EQ line driver in there, i'll start looking, i just havent had a chance recently

apparently its hard to find a 1 din EQ. i am concentrating my efforts on finding a good line driver, which is what i am more worried about but i will keep an eye open for eq's as well
