adding bose to non bose

Hi everyone... well i basically have a 95 max gxe that i almost full converted to a 97-99 max interior and exterior...

My wiring is for obviously non bose but i just purchased some bose speakers to fully bring my speakers back to gle stock.
Right now i have a dvd headunit in and sucky sony speakers... i dont want my system to be extremely loud but i know the bose will sound better than the sonys.

The bose speakers in the front have a connector with 6 pins and the rears have a connector with four pins. Right now i have just two wires that connect to a speaker.

Now i opened up the front bose speakers and see that theres two wires that come out of both the positive and negative terminals on the speaker. then 1 of each of those wires from each side goes into the amp and the other 2 go straight to the connector.
The 2 other wires that are left go into the amp but come out with 4 wires now instead of two and they are different colors.

the two wires that go from the speaker straight to the connector i believe are for the tweeters.

Now my question... i have a positive and negative wires for each speakers that connect to the head unit. is there anyway i could connect the 4 wires to the 2 wires i have now... what are the extra 2 wires for...?

I am in a similar situation. I have a 2000 maxima and my stock cd player just gave up on me. So i ordered a bose cd player from ebay thinking that it would be cool to have a bose and because it was cheaper but appareantly I read somewhere that the bose one does come with preamped watts so it wouldn't give power to my speakers and I would need an amp for that.

So if someone could clarify this with me then it would be great. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for prompt replies.

If you have non bose car..

You add Bose stereo...You need Bose amp...Bose speakers...and probably the Bose harness from the radio all oover the car.

Not worth it.

Yes I'm sure. I've had a 2k2 with bose, and I installed for about 5 years.

Keep it, sell it on here, Bose seems to break often anyway

Also, can we swap a 2000 non-bose deck with the part number of PN-2280D A and td code of CN628 with a 2001 deck with the part number PN-2415D A and td code of CNB88, even though they look exactly the same and there were no major differences between 2000 and 2001.

If its non-bose, it will work. The harnesss will be the same.

Look for yourself. Nissan only has 2 versions of harnesses, one for like the early 90's and ones for 96+ or something.

If the harness fits, it will fire up. All Nissan NON Bose stereos are fine to use on a Non Bose nissan system.
